This is a bit of concept art for Purgatory. I designed the costumes they'd wear for the rituals in my story before I even started writing on it. This is what came out of it. Yes, you'll note that Aeris's costume bears a striking resemblance to Yuna's. That's purposeful. Because elements of Purgatory is supposed to reflect elements from the other games as well. Ten being one of them. In any event, here it is.
As for how this pic was accomplished. Well, the original was an ink and marker drawing that I scanned in. The matching standards on their costumes were digital, as are the "diamonds" on Aeris's skirt. I kept the background neutral as I felt this was more of a costume study, rather than a finished work of art.
Also, the weapon she's holding won't be seen for awhile. She gets it much later in the story. The sword Seph's holding is his masamune, which'll be recovered quite soon.
Of course! Just don't copy, save it and then re-post it elsewhere. If you would like to use it, simply ask and then give me the site you want to use it for (making sure to credit and link back to me!) As long as you do that, I won't get cranky.
