I got the bug. The bug for a new story. Rose of Midgar is a story I've been thinking about for a long time and now I'm really getting the itch to write it.
Interesting note--For most of the things I write, I draw a fantastic amount of art for them. I have endless reams of art for Purgatory that I haven't even scanned in and finished. You could call it concept art. I have the same for this story. This was just a weird little scene that popped into my head and I decided to put it up!! Perhaps I should stick the orginial scan in my scraps...mebbe some other time. *sighs* Anyhoot, enjoy!

Yeah, okay...being a freak. I'm gonna go do that over here in the corner. Don't let me bother ya. Just...me...being a freak...in my own little freak world.
I'm such a dork.

Advice: Don't take singing lessons from obsessive basement-dwelling ex-circus freaks. It never turns out well.
Thanks! It's sort of based on those old world, edwardian things real ladies use to wear to bed. Though the design is a little more art noveau than Ewardian. I actually have flapper versions of some FF characters that I should get off my ass and ink. Damn.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
